The Bolt Sleeve is a reusable cylindrical lining that slips over a 3/4″ anchor bolt and effectively reduces the bolt slot opening in a BOLT STAR tool from 1-inch to 3/4-inches. For those situations when exact bolt placement in foundations is a concern, the Bolt Sleeve prevents any minor side-to-side bolt movement during the concrete pour. After hand tightening top and bottom nuts first, snug tighten with a slight 1/4″ wrench turn. After the pour, the Bolt Sleeves slip right off the anchor bolts when removing the BOLT STAR template.
